Florence

One of the most beloved cities in Italy. The birthplace of the Renaissance, it is known worldwide as a paradise for art lovers and for its historic sites, such as Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, the Uffizi, Piazza del Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Surrounded by the fiorentine hills, le colline, it is a magical place to get married.

Civil ceremonies take place in the magnificent historical town hall, Palazzo Vecchio, built in the 14th century and the ancient residence of the famous Medici family. The palazzo’s magnificent tower dominates Piazza della Signoria, one of Florence’s best-known squares.

A copy of the famous statue David by Michelangelo stands just outside the building, the original statue is located in the museum Galleria dell´Accademia. Ceremonies are held in the impressive Sala Rossa, the bedroom of Cosimo dei Medici.
